With more people joining, shouldn't the EVE universe get bigger?

there needs to be more ways in and out of 00 systems..
I like the idea of player owned jump gates. Set up your own routes.

The EVE universe is static...it needs to be dynamic.
Low sec areas evolve into hi sec....hi sec areas descend into low sec based on crime levels and such. That would make things interesting.

Yes, bigger much bigger and rounder. Like a D-Cup bigger..or more.
Anyway, just because there is no jump gate doesn't mean you cant explore space. Naturally, any space faring civilization will expand beyond its borders.
Personally, I like the idea of a wormhole leading not into EVE space, but off to some uncharted region of real space. Something that can be explored and connected to via jump gate to normal EVE space.

There was a lot of talk about how to implement new space. The reason we got w-space, is because if you make regular space, and make it worth living in, guess who's going to take it over?
It won't be the disorganized small corps who can't field more than 20 pilots. It gets taken over by major alliances with thousands of members and the organization and commitment necessary.
So that was the challenge. How can you add new space, without putting it right in the hands of the players who already have the gumption to commit?
I think w-space did it perfectly, myself.
i see
